CLEAN WATER PROJECT Click on the picture for more pictures.... Water is a very important factor for human survival, unfortunately there are people and villages that struggle everyday to get a litre of clean water. In Uganda, some people move more than 20 miles in order to get clean water for consumption and domestic use. People usually get their water from water ponds and in most cases the water contaminated, not clean and has clay. After realising this great challenge to our society, we decided to start a clean water project so that we can provide clean water to the communities around us, over 1000 people come to our center everyday to collect clean water. Clean water is pumped from a deep well into a 10000 litre water tank, water pipes are connected to the tank which supply the water to the taps. Benefits of the project... - The project benefits schools and the people from the communities around. - The project has helped in controling the spread of water related diseases like Typhoid, Dysentry, Cholera, etc. - The project has helped in controlling the sexual abuse of women and girls in the community. Because, people used to walk for long distances into bushes and valleys in such for clean water, while on their way, most of them were sexually abused by idol men. LIFE MEDICAL CLINIC At the begining of the year, we hosted a medical team from Alabama-Ruseville, United States of America. The team came on a medical mission with medication and supplies that enabled us to treat adults and children in out community. Many people turned up for this exercise, people with different infections and diseases, most of these people were poor people that could not access medication and treatment from any health care centre. Health care is expensive in Uganda, this has increased on Uganda's mortality rate and the spread of diseases because few people can access medication for any sickness. The clinic has helped us reduce the spread of infections and increase the access to treatment to the poor people living among our communities. This clinic has brought more people to Jesus Christ because they have experienced the love and care provided by our church after being neglected and left with no other alternative except death. Many people have recieved treatment and have entirely recovered. We greatly appreciate our friends from all around the world that have seen to it that we successfully provide treatment to the people in our communities through their support and generous hearts. VK RECORDS STUDIO The media is one of the greatest tools that can be used to preach the gospel in this modern world. Our music studio supports gospel musicians by recording their music cheaply so as to increase the preaching of the gospel through the media. Our studio has produced some of the best songs in Uganda today, great and talented artists that people never expected. Many people have been inspired and have given their lives to Jesus Christ because of the music and musicians that have been produced by our studios.
